By popular demand, a second Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow has been added to the exciting Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster.

It’ll be double the laughs as MC Cal Wilson and the hilarious host of travelling comedians take the stage for a second night of comedy held at the iconic Hoochery Rum Distillery, Australia’s oldest continuous legal distillery.

Joining Cal Wilson on stage is award-winning Australian comedian Hannah Gadsby, Canberran comedian Daniel Connell and double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee UK comedian Carl Donnelly. A further announcement to complete the line up will be made soon.

New Zealand born Cal Wilson has called Australia home since 2003. She won the Best Newcomer Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2001 and has played in every corner of the country since. Cal has performed three times at the prestigious, invitation only, Montreal Just for Laughs Festival and twice in her own shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A regular on our small screens too appearing in ‘Spicks and Specks’, ‘Good News Week’, ‘Thank God You’re Here’ and the new Australian version of ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway’.

Hannah Gadsby thinks quickly and moves slowly. She is sardonic, laconic and, after numerous bone crunching accidents, bionic. Her droll delivery, delightful wordplay and heart-breakingly funny, self-deprecating observations have delighted audiences all over the world.

Daniel Connell could easily be described as the ideal Aussie comedian; affable, loveable and hilarious. His observational, dry, often unanticipated comedy has seen him take to stages all over Australia. One of the most active comedians in the country, Daniel can be seen sharing a stage with comedians like Jimeoin, Glenn Robbins, Denise Scott and Dave Hughes.

British comedian Carl Donnelly has done a lot of things in his relatively short career that include receiving two nominations for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, appearing on a number of television programs (Mock The Week, Russell Howard’s Good News and others) and travelled the world performing at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, The Melbourne International Comedy Festival, The New Zealand Comedy Festival and more.

For the biggest belly laughs in the region, don’t miss the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.
