Catch someone’s eye this Valentine’s Day
Eyes are the first thing we notice about the opposite sex
Its official; the eyes have got it all. The eyes are the first thing that grabs our attention when meeting someone for the first time according to a recent Murine study. Contrary to popular opinion, 62 per cent of men surveyed revealed that eyes were the first thing they noticed about the opposite sex. A great smile comes in second at 52 per cent and a woman’s chest rounds out the top three with 47 per cent. The study shatters the common misconception that men always look to a woman’s chest first.
There was a similar pattern when it came to the female sex with 71 per cent of women surveyed admitting eyes were top of their list when it comes to noticing the opposite sex. A killer smile came in a close second with 69 per cent and great hair was a surprising entry in third with 35 per cent.
We all know the saying that the eyes are the window to the soul so it’s no surprise that people are first drawn to the eyes when they meet someone new for a deeper connection.
